Submission Guidelines (Read before submitting!)
- Accepted file types: .png, .jpeg, .gif, .mid, .mp3, .swf, .txt, .rtf
- File size limit: 3 megabytes, 6 for mp3 and swf files.
- Maximum image dimensions: 1280 x 1024 pixels
- Please keep submissions family friendly! No nudity, profanity or other potentially offensive material.
- Administrators may remove, or not post your submission if it does not adhere to these guidelines.
Examples of Unacceptable Submissions
Unacceptable Submissions Include: (But are not limited to:)
- Any submission not related to this fan game will not be accepted. (But you knew that, right?)
- Images or animations that lack apparent effort. (Images drawn in MS Paint in a few minutes will most likely be rejected.) Also, images with bad compression artifacts will be rejected. (If you’re working in paint, avoid saving as jpeg.)
- Images should be pictures, not text only. Pictures with text are okay. Use text documents for text submissions.
- Audio that lacks decent sound quality. (Audio captured with a cell phone, for example, will probably not be acceptable quality.)
- Text with frequent grammatical or spelling errors is unacceptable. (Text must also be in English, as this website is in English.) Text documents should also contain more than a one-line simple idea, like an item name or suggestion. Item, enemy, etc. suggestions that suggest something that is the same from one of the previous games are generally not accepted, please put some thought into your suggestions!
- All work must be original, eg. we won’t accept music from other games, excepting the Mother series – but those should be in your own style. This also means submissions must be created by the submitter. Show us what you can do. Anything ripped directly from another game will not be approved.
Quick Guide to Submitting:
- Make sure your submissions meet the guidelines. (ie. They aren’t inappropriate, large in file size, or of some odd file type.)
- Submit only your own work.
- Put effort into them! Be creative!
Please note: While your submissions are reviewed by us, we are not looking for new ideas or team members. What that means is suggestions or ideas with little substance will not be accepted. Fan submissions will not be used in the game unless otherwise stated.
